24, 2007-The Quad City Flames franchise is born during a press
conference at The MARK of the Quad Cities. Kevin Murphy speaks representing
local ownership group, Quad City Sports Ventures Inc.
Calgary
Flames President and C.E.O. Ken King and Michael Holditch, Vice President
of Hockey Administration and C.F.O. of the Calgary Flames, are also in
attendance for the press conference.

25, 2007-The
American Hockey League Board of Governors unanimously approve the relocation
of the Omaha franchise to the Quad Cities for the 2007-08 season.

30, 2007-The
Quad City Flames are placed in the West Division of the AHL's Western
Conference. The Flames are joined in the West by the Chicago Wolves, Houston
Aeros, Iowa Stars, Milwaukee Admirals, Peoria Rivermen, Rockford IceHogs
and San Antonio Rampage.

14, 2007-The
Quad City Flames unveil the franchise's logo during a fan party in Bettendorf.
The logo features Calgary's 'flaming C' logo joined by a 'flaming Q' representing
the Quad Cities.

July
19, 2007-After
14 years as The MARK of the Quad Cities, the Flames' home arena is renamed
the i wireless Center.

October
6 , 2007-The
Flames beat Rockford 5-1 in the first game in franchise history. Dustin
Boyd recorded the first goal in team history at 5:52 of the first period.

9 , 2007-Goaltender
Matt Keetley earns the first NHL recall in the history of the Quad City
Flames.

October
12, 2007-Tim
Hambly records the first multiple goal game in Flames franchise history.
Hambly scored both Flames goals in a 4-2 loss at Milwaukee.

21, 2007-The
Flames record the first road win in franchise history as Grant Stevenson
scores twice in a 3-2 comeback victory over Grand Rapids.

22 , 2007-Eric
Nystrom becomes the first Quad City Flame to appear in an NHL game when
he skates in a 4-1 Calgary loss to San Jose.

November
17 , 2007-Curis
McElhinney stops 27 shots to earn the first shutout in team history in
a 6-0 win over Iowa.

December
29, 2007-Krys
Kolanos records the first hat trick in the Flames history with three goals
in a 5-2 win over the Chicago Wolves.

January
9, 2008-Adam
Pardy is selected to represent the Flames at the 2008 AHL All-Star Game.
He is the first player in Flames history to earn an All-Star selection.

January
20, 2008-Grant
Stevenson records the first four goal game in the history of the Flames.
Stevenson's goals sparks a 4-2 win over the Rochester Americans.

January
21, 2008-Grant
Stevenson is named AHL Player of the Week for the period of January 14th
through 20th. During the stretch, he recorded seven points on six goals
and an assist. He is the first Flame to earn an individual award from
the AHL.

February
1, 2008-Grant
Stevenson is named AHL Player of the Month for January. Stevenson records
a point in 11 of the team's 12 games in January. He scored 20 points on
12 goals and eight assists during the month.

February
10, 2008-Grant
Stevenson has a 15-game scoring streak snapped. The center tied an AHL
season high for longest scoring streak and totaled 25 points on 13 goals
and 12 assists during the streak.

March
28 , 2008-Grant
Stevenson records his 30th goal and 70th point in a win over Iowa. He
is the first player in Quad City Flames history to reach both plateaus.
